Shares of Capri Global Capital Ltd. are down 14% on Thursday, March 27, in a sharp reversal from the highs of the day and on very strong volumes.

The stock, at the highest point of the day, until 12:30 PM on Thursday, was trading with gains of up to 13% and was also the top gainer on the Nifty 500 index.

Since then, the stock has seen a one-way fall and is now down 27% from the highs of the day, trading with losses of 13.7% and is now the top loser on the Nifty 500 index.

The stock has also surged and declined on very strong volumes. As of 3 PM, over 11 crore shares have been traded on the stock, adding to the 4.67 crore shares that were traded on Wednesday, when the stock had surged 16%.

However, the average daily trading volume on the stock has been anywhere between 1 lakh to 3 lakh shares.

At the end of the December quarter, Quant Mutual Fund had a 1.53% stake in Capri Global Capital. The stock does not have significant shareholding, with that figure at 1.27% as of December 31.

Shares of Capri Global are trading 11.6% lower at ₹172.2. At the day’s high of ₹231, the stock was trading close to its 52-week high of ₹251.
