Stock Market Live on Tuesday, May 7: Indian equities erased early gains on Tuesday weighed by HCLTech, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries. Sensex was trading 0.38 per cent lower at 73,602.70 while Nifty50 was trading 0.30 per cent lower at 22,374.35 levels.

FMCG major Marico rallied 10 per cent on promising FY25 outlook On BSE, Hindustan Unilever, Nestle and ITC were among the top gainers while HCLTech and Power Grid were among the top losers.  

Similiarly, on NSE, Hindustan Unilever, Britannia and Nestle were the top gainers while Power Grid and JSW Steel were the major laggards. In the broader markets, Nifty MidCap dropped 0.62 per cent while SmallCap fell 0.49 per cent. Sectorally, Nifty FMCG was the top gainer with a gain of over 2.50 per cent.
