Doddle.ie found the difference between the lowest and highest mortgage rate on offer was 3.3 percentage points

Mortgage providers are looking to woo customers with cash incentives as the gap in mortgage rates on offer is at a record high.

The difference between the lowest and highest mortgage rate on offer is 3.3 percentage points, according to the doddle.ie mortgage switching index.

The index is based on a €308,000 mortgage, with the highest roll-out variable rate with the highest rate of 7.15 per cent versus the lowest rate of 3.85 per cent. …
