Credit broker Norton Broker Services has appointed Vincent Ricks as its telephone business development manager to further strengthen its intermediary team.
In his new role, Ricks will work as part of Norton’s intermediary team supporting brokers across first charge mortgages, as well as 1st and 2nd charge bridging finance.
He will act as a direct point of contact for case enquiries, helping brokers understand criteria, progress applications, and secure solutions for more complex client needs.
Norton Broker Services head of mortgages and bridging, Mel Whiting, said: “Ricks brings valuable experience from the investor and development side of the market, which gives him a great understanding of what brokers and their clients need from a lender.
“We’re really pleased to welcome him to the Norton Broker Services team as we continue building our support proposition to intermediaries across a range of product areas.”
Ricks joins Norton with over a decade of experience in the property and finance sectors, covering sales, property investment, and development.
Most recently, he was sales director at Apex International Property Solutions, working with high net worth clients to identify below-market-value opportunities and manage developments ranging from single buy-to-lets to multi-unit blocks worth up to £10mn.
Before that he was head of sales and marketing at Foot Forward Property Investments, and prior to that, spent more than 10 years at Keystone Property Group UK as a senior property consultant.
Meanwhile, Ricks said: “I’ve worked with investors, landlords, and developers for many years, so I understand the importance of clear and timely communication.
“I’m looking forward to building strong relationships and helping more brokers get deals across the line.”
