IHG One Rewards and Revolut launched two debit cards with limited-time sign-up bonuses ending August 25. The Elite card costs £18 monthly but delivers Platinum status and high point earn rates. Both require a Revolut account and offer elite night credits toward status.
The IHG x Revolut Essential card is free and grants Silver Elite status with five annual elite night credits. The Elite card, at £18 monthly, offers Platinum status, 15 elite night credits yearly, and uncapped additional credits based on spend. Both cards earn points on all transactions, with bonus rates at IHG hotels through October 2026.
Applicants must link or open a Revolut account to use the cards. The Elite card unlocks tiered rewards at £10,000, £15,000, £25,000, and £35,000 annual spend, including Diamond status and suite upgrades. Points post every 14 days and do not count toward elite status thresholds.
Travelers risk missing 30,000 bonus points and elevated hotel earn rates if they delay applying past August 25. Without a Revolut account, users must fund it regularly to maintain card functionality, adding a layer of financial management not typical with credit cards.
