Amid a slew of new Jordan news debuted as a part of today’s SNKRS preview, we got our first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Metallic Silver.”
These are functionally a low version of the classic silver kicks that debuted in the COJP pack. The materials, a combination of the suede and leather, as well as the colors make the layout an exact match for the High version that debuted in 2001 and re-released in 2020.
Though the initial looks at the Lows during the showcase were limited, it would seem that the one major change is a shift in materials on the tongue, going from leather to suede. Additionally, the leather on the toebox seems to have more of a matte quality than the tumbled kind that hit the toe of the 2020 editions.
These slide into a particularly “metallic” slate of Jordans set to hit shelves during the Summer, from the Air Jordan 4 “Oxidized Green” to an all-foil Air Jordan 1 “Chrome.”
In the Jordan Retro Preview, these were announced for a Summer release date, though a specific date is still unconfirmed. Currently slated to drop in full extended sizing, they’ll carry a $140 release date.
There was a ton of new information in the showcase we’ve alluded to in this piece. To stay on top of the latest, keep it locked in to our Jordan Release Dates page.
