BOONE, N.C. — Headlined by a pair of silver medals for Jeff Boyd (149 lbs) and Patrick Brophy (197 lbs) along with two third-place finishes from Jacob Silka (141 lbs) and Ben Stemmet (285 lbs), The Citadel (14-4, 6-2 SoCon) managed to marshal a notably strong performance at the Southern Conference Championship, cementing fifth overall as a program behind a total 44.5 points across the all-day Saturday event at Holmes Convocation Center.

For The Citadel, Boyd serves as the first Bulldog to clinch an NCAA berth since Dazjon Casto (157 lbs) and Michael McAleavey (285 lbs) advanced to the national tournament during the 2022 postseason.
