The Bank of China Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge Half Marathon, Hong Kong’s first platinum label road race, will open the registration process for priority entry on Thursday, before the public ballot begins next Thursday.
Scheduled for November 15, the race will again take runners across the Hong Kong section of the bridge, covering the half-marathon distance of 21 km. The start and finish will both be on the Hong Kong Link Road, with the turning point set at the halfway mark.
The half-marathon quota will remain at 8,000, the same as last year’s edition, while a 10km race will be introduced with 2,000 entries as part of efforts to promote mass participation.
On race day, participants are required to gather and finish bag deposits and security checks at the AsiaWorld-Expo before taking shuttle buses to the start and finish area.
