Patek Philippe pays homage to the distinctive medium size of the Nautilus with Reference 5610/1P-001. This release marks a return to the architecture first introduced in the 1980s with Reference 3800/1, which was later reinterpreted on the thirtieth anniversary of the collection with Reference 5800/1A. Crafted in 950 platinum, this timepiece offers outstanding legibility and an elegant, understated style, presenting a slender profile of just 6.90 millimeters. The case features the polished and satin-brushed finishes typical of the collection. In accordance with the brand’s tradition for platinum models, it incorporates a brilliant-cut diamond set into the hinge at nine o’clock.
The timepiece displays only the hours and minutes, honoring the purity of the original design. The blue sunburst dial features horizontal relief embossing and is enhanced with applied hour markers and rounded hands in white gold with a white luminescent coating. The ultra-thin self-winding caliber 240 movement beats within the case and is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The 22K gold mini-rotor is engraved with the inscription “50 1976-2026”.
Reference 5610/1P-001 is produced as a limited edition of 2,000 examples and is water-resistant to 30 meters. The platinum bracelet features alternating satin-brushed and polished finishes. It is secured with a patented Patek Philippe fold-over clasp that includes a lockable adjustment system. The watch is presented in an exterior cork presentation case that mirrors the style of the 1976 original.
