Synergy One Lending is merging into American Pacific Mortgage in a move the companies say makes them one of the largest retail lenders in the country. Processing ContentThe companies announced the deal Friday, which will keep the Synergy One Lending brand as a division of the Northern California-based APM. New lending dipped by close to $1 billion in the month of April but was still higher by almost $2 billion compared to the same period last year. The Reserve Bank’s new lending fully secured by residential mortgage data series shows $14.2 billion of new lending during April, down 6.4% from $15.1 billion in March.
