Coventry for intermediaries has reduced selected residential and buy-to-let rates by up to 0.12%. The lender said the new deals launch today, with cuts made across a number of owner-occupier and buy-to-let products. Residential rates have been reduced by up to 12bps, while buy-to-let rates have been cut by up to 10bps. A number of the products are aimed at first-time buyers and include £500 cashback. The Church Commissioners for England, manager of the Church of England’s endowment fund, reported an 8% return in 2025, spurred by a nearly 14% gain by its public equites portfolio, raising the endowment’s asset value to £11.6 billion ($15.6 billion).  It was the 17th consecutive year of positive returns for the endowment, which has also generated an 8.6% annualized return over the past 10 years.
