As a Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholder, you get a complimentary Priority Pass Select membership, which offers access to more than 1,300 airport lounges worldwide, along with other experiences.

For now, that includes a dining credit at select airport restaurants. An eligible member and a guest can both receive up to $28 in credits toward eligible menu items, for a total of $56.

But sadly, Chase announced that the perk is going away soon with the following note on cardholder statements:

“As of July 1, 2024, you will no longer have access to restaurants, cafes, and markets participating in the Priority Pass Select network as part of the Priority Pass Select™ Benefit associated with your card. Access to Priority Pass Select’s network of lounges and other select airport experiences is not impacted by this update.”

The change also applies to the JP Morgan Reserve Card* and The Ritz-Carlton™ Credit Card*, neither of which is widely available.

With only roughly 30 restaurants at select U.S. airports, many Sapphire Reserve cardholders may have never had the chance to use the benefit. But for those who live near or frequently travel through airports with participating restaurants, the change could be a major loss of value.
