LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A man was sentenced Tuesday for his role in a credit card fraud scheme from 2025.
Serigu Railean, 53, will serve five years in prison concurrently after pleading guilty to several charges, including first-degree unlawful access to a computer, second-degree possession of a forged instrument and false making/embossing of a credit/debit card.

Railean was one of two men arrested after Lexington Police responded to a report of fraudulent ATM transactions at the Leestown Road Kroger, where officers found over 100 fraudulent credit cards in their possession.
He was later connected to another fraudulent withdrawal at a CVS.
Railean’s accomplice, Fernando Perez, will next be in court on June 18 for a status hearing.
