The Dallas Mavericks are trying to get their hands on the Cooper Flagg one-of-one debut patch autograph card by offering a massive trade bounty for whomever finds the collectible.
Topps released the limited Flagg card in the Chrome Update set that dropped on Thursday.
The Mavs’ trade proposal has seven items, including two premium lower level season tickets for a 32-year period and a game-worn jersey signed by Flagg from his rookie season.
Per The Athletic’s Brooks Peck, the card has already received “several” bounties of at least $1 million to whomever pulls the item.
Flagg debuted the card last month during Fanatics Fest and revealed on stage he had some nerves before signing his autograph.
“I was a little nervous. I’ve signed a lot of cards, but that one was a little nerve-wracking,” Flagg said.
This isn’t the first time a team has attempted to procure a one-of-one autograph patch card via trade. The Pittsburgh Pirates offered a similar package to what Dallas is doing for Paul Skenes’ card in 2025.
Pittsburgh’s effort did not pan out as the Skenes card was sold at auction for $1.11 million in March 2025 after being pulled by an 11-year-old collector in Los Angeles.
The $1.11 million sale price for Skenes’ card was a record for a debut patch card, which Topps originally introduced in 2023.
Peck noted it’s unclear if Flagg’s card will be able to surpass that amount, but the combination of the Mavs’ offer and multiple bounties already out there indicate it could exceed Skenes’ mark.
The patch on the card is from Flagg’s first-ever NBA game against the San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 22. He finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds in a 125-92 loss.
Other notable players with debut patch cards in the update include Dylan Harper, VJ Edgecombe and Kon Knueppel. According to Peck, there is also a $1 million bounty on the Harper card placed by sports card collector Jared Bleznick.
