Read Academy of Ilford has taken delivery of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with Altas Tourline minicoach bodywork, supplied by EVM.

It comes with 19 reclining Sege seats that are finished in leather and which have lateral displacement on the aisle side of double positions. All are mounted on raised flooring above a sunken gangway.

In-dash and roof-mounted air-conditioning units are fitted, as are convector heaters for the full length of the saloon. A large drop boot is part of the specification, including space for a spare wheel, and it is accessed via a coach-style rear complete with vertically lifting door.

USB charging points are installed along with a PA system and a reversing camera coupled to a seven-inch dash display. A plug entrance door is provided along with panoramic double-glazed side windows.

Colour coded bumpers, side mouldings and skirts are fitted to the Altas Tourline, along with wheel trims.

The minicoach has the OM 654 engine developing 170bhp coupled to a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic gearbox and it comes with a three-year Mercedes-Benz unlimited mileage chassis warranty. Handover to Read Academy was by EVM Sales Executive Guy Billings (pictured, second from right).
