This is a correction to: Martin Holmén, Felix Holzmeister, Michael Kirchler, Matthias Stefan, Erik Wengström, Economic Preferences and Personality Traits Among Finance Professionals and the General Population, The Economic Journal, Volume 133, Issue 656, November 2023, Pages 2949–2977, https://doi.org/10.1093/ej/uead038

The data replication package for this article was originally published by the author on The Economic Journal zenodo community on 14 October 2023. It contained an error in the readme file which meant that some elements were hidden: data was missing, and the structure of the file was incorrect.

These errors were corrected by the author and approved by the EJ Data Editor on 15 November 2023. The corrected data replication package was uploaded with a new zenodo link (10.5281/zenodo.10122137). This has effectively replaced the links to previous versions (10.5281/zenodo.7871222 and 10.5281/zenodo.7871223), which are no longer publicly accessible on The Economic Journal zenodo community.

The following change is made within the published article. The statement and link should now read: ‘The data and codes for this paper are available on the Journal repository. They were checked for their ability to reproduce the results presented in the paper. The replication package for this paper is available at the following address:

https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10122137

instead of: ‘The data and codes for this paper are available on the Journal repository. They were checked for their ability to reproduce the results presented in the paper. The replication package for this paper is available at the following address:

https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7871223’.

The emendation has been made in the article.
