Dimension Energy, a distributed energy developer, has secured $857 million of additional capital for its distributed solar platform. The funding includes a $200 million upsize of its corporate credit facility, led by Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit and funds managed by HPS Investment Partners. The new capital also includes a $657 million construction-to-term debt and tax equity financing package. Advantage Capital served as the tax equity investor for the package. Meanwhile, MUFG Bank, First Citizens Bank, ING Capital, and National Bank of Canada acted as Coordinating Lead Arrangers alongside Joint Lead Arranger Fifth Third Bank. This package finances a portfolio of 29 distributed solar projects totaling 149 MW across Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The upsized corporate facility brings the company’s total credit facility to $650 million. The company currently owns over 600 MW of operating and under-construction assets and aims to reach 1 GW of operating assets by 2028.
