Evolve Corporate Finance has appointed a new member of its partner team, amid strategic growth plans. Tom Hammond has been promoted to help push ahead with the firm’s continued expansion.
David Neate, another partner at the firm, commented, “Tom has had a significant impact on the firm and our clients since joining, and we are delighted to see him move into a more senior role. His expertise on sell and buy side transactions and ability to support clients in securing a positive outcome are exceptional, and he has played a key role in transactions since joining Evolve.”
Evolve Corporate Finance, is an independent corporate finance boutique, headquartered in Birmingham. Hammond arrived at the firm in 2024, initially serving as a director. Since joining the firm, Hammond has played a key role in advising the firm’s clients on several high-profile deals across a range of industry sectors.
Neate added, “Tom’s move into a more senior role strengthens our team further and helps us to continue building our position as one of the go-to M&A advisory firms for owner-managed businesses.”
As a qualified chartered accountant, Hammond has held roles in other corporate finance and accountancy firms in the Midlands, including EY. After three years at the Big Four firm, latterly as a qualified audit senior, he also worked for five years with Springboard Corporate Finance – where he reached the rank of assistant director.
Hammond himself said of the news, “This promotion is a huge achievement for me, and I’m delighted to be part of the partner team at Evolve. The firm is on an exciting journey as we continue to grow our team, capabilities, and brand in the corporate finance advisory space, supporting the owner-managed market, and I’m looking forward to being part of the leadership team as we continue to help our clients secure positive outcomes in their biggest business decisions.”
The promotion to partner comes as part of the firm’s wider growth plans as it seeks to expand its senior team and capitalise on its pipeline of deals and opportunities. It follows the firm’s relocation to the Arca building on Temple Row, Birmingham City Centre, as it prepares for further growth in 2025 and to recruit new talent.
