Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the gained 0.65% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Hiab Oyj (), which rose 4.72% or 2.32 points to trade at 51.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP () added 4.27% or 1.16 points to end at 28.34 and Metso Oyj () was up 3.75% or 0.58 points to 16.06 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (), which fell 3.66% or 1.04 points to trade at 27.35 at the close. Nokia Oyj () declined 1.36% or 0.18 points to end at 13.07 and Fortum Oyj () was down 0.53% or 0.11 points to 20.63.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 110 to 60 and 20 ended unchanged.
for August delivery was down 5.43% or 5.44 to $94.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, for delivery in July fell 5.69% or 5.50 to hit $91.10 a barrel, while the August Futures contract rose 1.07% or 48.77 to trade at $4,605.17 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.16, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.19% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 98.92.
