Soyang Europe has signed a new distribution agreement with Platinum Technologies Liyu to supply the manufacturer’s large-format print hardware across the UK.
The partnership will see Soyang Europe distribute the full Platinum Technologies Liyu portfolio across England, Scotland and Wales, adding to its existing wide-format media and hardware offering.
Platinum Technologies Liyu, formerly known as Liyu Technologies, manufactures large-format and industrial print systems for applications including signage, display, décor and packaging. Soyang Europe said the agreement will combine Liyu’s print technology with its own customer support and service infrastructure in the GB market.
Several machines from the Liyu range are now available to view at Soyang Europe’s demonstration facility in Accrington, including the new Liyu Signature H3340 UV hybrid printer, which will officially launch at Fespa Global Print Expo 2026 later this month. The printer can run at speeds of up to 350sqm/hr and supports resolutions up to 2400dpi, with colour options including CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, white and neon inks.
Other systems on display include the Liyu Platinum KCXL+ flatbed UV printer, capable of printing on media up to 100mm thick, and the Liyu Platinum PCT LED roll-to-roll printer for applications such as signage, textiles and interior décor.
