Mortgage rates have fallen for the second week in a row and are now at 4-week lows. Yesterday, Freddie Mac reported that the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate fell seven basis points to 6.30% for the week ending Wednesday. The vote for the tender offer passed with a 99.97% majority, leaving just 0.03% of voters who voted in opposition. The tender offer was initially announced in March, following a battle between the trust and its biggest shareholder, Saba.
