Thomas Cook (India) Limited has introduced an industry-first cross-border rewards programme for its Forex Card customers, rewarding international spending across leading global retail brands and payment platforms. The initiative is designed to encourage greater adoption of cashless payments while enhancing the value proposition of prepaid forex cards for Indian travellers.
As international travel becomes increasingly digital, travellers are relying more on contactless and wallet-based payments for everyday expenses, from dining and shopping to transportation and entertainment. Recognising this shift, Thomas Cook India has launched a rewards programme that offers customers meaningful benefits on overseas spending while promoting secure, cashless transactions.
Under the new programme, customers using Thomas Cook India’s Forex Cards can earn 10% rewards-back on eligible POS, contactless, and e-commerce transactions made at leading global brands including Grab, 7-Eleven, Starbucks, McDonald’s, KFC, Careem, and Burger King.
Applicable on a minimum spend of USD 25 per merchant, customers can receive rewards of up to USD 10 per day across participating merchants. The cashback will be issued in the form of Amazon vouchers, subject to qualifying spending thresholds and applicable terms.
The initiative aims to increase the use of prepaid forex cards for day-to-day overseas purchases, reduce dependence on cash withdrawals, and encourage repeat usage by rewarding spending across travel, dining, retail, and lifestyle categories.
The rewards programme is available across all Thomas Cook India Visa and Mastercard Forex Cards and complements existing card features, including multi-currency support, worldwide acceptance, and integration with digital payment platforms such as Google Pay.
