Foresters Financial says it earned a total comprehensive income of $166.2 million in its 2025 annual report.
Total comprehensive income measures profitability mainly from insurance earnings, net investment returns and capital markets impacts.
Annualized weighted sales were $384.8 million in 2025, up 14.5% from a year prior, primarily driven by North American insurance sales. At the same time, gross life insurance premiums were $1.4 billion, up 2.8% compared to 2024.
Insurance revenue was $954 million in 2025, compared to $910 million in 2024. Meanwhile, the insurer experienced an insurance service result loss of $89 million, compared to a $190 million loss in the previous year.
Foresters had $19.6 billion in assets and 2.2 million certificates and contracts in force in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. last year. It had $10.2 million in net investments for accounts of segregated funds and unit-linked contract holders in 2025, compared to $9.3 million in 2024.
