Growth in this year’s roll was driven by property transfers, new construction, business property assessments, and annual Proposition 13 inflation adjustments. Continued investment and development across Riverside County communities also contributed to overall assessment growth, according to the Assessor’s Office.
“Every assessment on the roll matters to property owners and the public agencies that rely on this information. Our goal is to administer the roll fairly, accurately, and consistently so that property owners can have confidence in the assessment process,” Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder Peter Aldana said.
