Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Travel & Leisure, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the rose 1.43% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Avio SpA (), which rose 7.20% or 2.60 points to trade at 38.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Nexi SpA () added 6.51% or 0.22 points to end at 3.60 and Amplifon () was up 3.91% or 0.41 points to 10.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eni SpA (), which fell 1.09% or 0.26 points to trade at 23.04 at the close. Leonardo SpA () declined 0.57% or 0.30 points to end at 52.02 and Snam SpA () was down 0.47% or 0.03 points to 6.36.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 494 to 159 and 42 ended unchanged.
for July delivery was down 5.19% or 5.01 to $91.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, for delivery in August fell 4.95% or 4.96 to hit $95.25 a barrel, while the August Futures contract rose 1.03% or 46.85 to trade at $4,603.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.16, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.19% to 0.86.
The Futures was down 0.25% at 98.93.
