Russell Dickerson added another milestone to an already landmark spring, receiving a plaque on stage commemorating the triple Platinum certification of “She Likes It,” featuring Jake Scott, during his RUSSELLMANIA TOUR stop at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on May 20.
The Recording Industry Association of America certification marks a new achievement for the track, which Dickerson co-wrote with Scott and Josh Kerr. Originally released in April 2022, the song peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and No. 13 on the Hot Country Songs chart.
The Greek Theatre set kept fans on their feet throughout the night, featuring crowd favorites including “Yours,” “Blue Tacoma,” “Love You Like I Used To,” “Happen To Me,” and Dickerson’s latest release, “BOOTS,” featuring Fetty Wap. On hand to mark the occasion were Matt Graham of Range Media Partners, Stephanie Marks of Range Management, and Hope Garrison, Laura Hostelley, and Dave Collins of Triple Tigers.
Days later, Dickerson served as a presenter at the 52nd American Music Awards, which aired live on May 25 on CBS and Paramount+ from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was also nominated for Favorite Country Song for “Happen To Me.”
The Triple Tigers artist has built one of country music’s most consistent track records in recent years, with a catalog that includes six No. 1 singles and more than three billion career streams.
