(TPR) While backstage at his show at the Rama Casino in Orillia, Ontario, Canada on Saturday (April 25), Sony Music Canada presented Triple Tigers Records recording artist, Scotty McCreery, with two plaques recognizing his Canadian career accomplishments.
The first plaque celebrated his recent No.1 hit in Canada, “Bottle Rockets,” which featured Hootie & The Blowfish. This was McCreery’s first No.1 single in Canada and he was joined that evening by two of the track’s co-writers – Bobby Hamrick and Frank Rogers (who also produced the song).
The second plaque recognized all McCreery’s Gold and Platinum success in Canada, including the Gold album Seasons Change; four Gold singles “In Between,” “You Time,” “It Matters to Her,” and “Bottle Rockets”; two Platinum singles “This is It” and “Damn Strait”; and the 2xPlatinum single “Five More Minutes.”
