BookMyForex Forex Card Now Includes Travel Benefits
BookMyForex, a subsidiary of MakeMyTrip Limited, has introduced travel rewards for its Forex Card, combining foreign exchange services with travel-related benefits for Indian travellers heading overseas.
The updated Forex Card offers cashback on eligible forex loads, discounts on MakeMyTrip bookings for international flights, hotels, visas, tours and attractions, along with a complimentary airport transfer voucher on qualifying purchases.
Under the offer, all BookMyForex Forex Cardholders can receive discounts of up to ₹6,000 on international flight bookings, up to 30% off hotel bookings, and additional savings on visa services, tours and attractions booked through MakeMyTrip.
New customers will also be eligible for up to 2% cashback on their first forex load of ₹25,000 or more. Customers purchasing a new Forex Card with a minimum forex load of ₹15,000 will receive a ₹500 MakeMyTrip airport transfer voucher, which can be used for an airport pick-up or drop at airports across India.
Commenting on the launch, Gagan Malhotra, Chief Operating Officer, BookMyForex, said many travellers continue to incur additional costs through foreign exchange mark-ups and currency conversion fees when using rupee-denominated credit cards abroad. He said the updated Forex Card is designed to help customers reduce foreign exchange costs while offering savings on other parts of their travel, including flights, accommodation and airport transfers.
BookMyForex offers two Forex Card options—a Multi-Currency Forex Card and a Single Currency Forex Card—to suit different travel requirements. Together, the cards can be used in more than 200 countries and support digital reloads during travel, card management, ATM withdrawals and point-of-sale transactions.
The BookMyForex Travel Forex Card is available through the company’s website and mobile application.
