COOK COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) — A former suburban high school superintendent is facing felony charges after allegedly using a district credit card for personal purchases.
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office said William Toulios, 46, used the card from Argo Community High School District 217.

Toulios is accused of making more than $10,000 dollars in purchases including golf equipment, Visa gift cards and adult content websites.
Prosecutors also said Toulios directed a subordinate employee to create fraudulent invoices to conceal the spending.
The suspect appeared in court Friday, where he pleaded not guilty and was released from custody pending.
Toulios’ next court date was scheduled for August 24.
