Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Construction and Travel sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, added 2.07% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Ellaktor SA (), which rose 6.74% or 0.09 points to trade at 1.46 at the close. Meanwhile, Lavipharm SA () added 6.69% or 0.10 points to end at 1.66 and Gek Terna () was up 5.67% or 2.30 points to 42.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank of Cyprus Holdings PLC (), which fell 3.36% or 0.32 points to trade at 9.20 at the close. Dimand Societe Anonyme for Real Estate Constructions () declined 2.26% or 0.30 points to end at 13.00 and Organismos Limenos Peiraios AE () was down 2.13% or 0.80 points to 36.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 87 to 32 and 12 ended unchanged.
was up 1.01% or 46.07 to $4,602.47 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, fell 5.68% or 5.49 to hit $91.11 a barrel, while fell 5.27% or 5.28 to trade at $94.93 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.35% to 1.16, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.86.
