Mortgage Intelligence has added Afin Bank to its lender panel, providing network advisers with access to the bank’s mortgage proposition.
Afin offers residential and buy-to-let mortgages to customers who may struggle to secure finance from mainstream lenders because of their circumstances, such as the self-employed and contract workers, people with complex incomes, high-net-worth customers and foreign nationals with a UK work visa.
Afin assesses each borrower’s financial situation and individually underwrites every mortgage.
Graham Wood, head of products and partnerships at Mortgage Intelligence, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Afin Bank to the Mortgage Intelligence lender panel. As the needs of borrowers continue to evolve, it’s important that our members have access to lenders that bring fresh thinking and a genuine commitment to serving a diverse range of customers. We believe their approach will add significant value to our advisers and help them support a wider range of clients.”
Anum Mahmood, national key account manager at Afin Bank, added: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Mortgage Intelligence and offering its advisers access to Afin Bank’s flexible mortgage solutions. We recognise that many capable borrowers do not always fit the traditional lending box, and our proposition is designed to help advisers support customers with more complex or non-standard circumstances. We look forward to working with the network and helping advisers deliver positive outcomes for a wider range of clients.”
