Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card Bonus – More Than Triple The Points

The Hilton Honors Plus Debit card now has the highest sign-up bonus yet. Until 7th September 2026, new cardholders can earn up to 35 Elite Qualifying Nights (EQNs) and 50,000 Hilton Honors Points. That’s an increase from the previous offer of 15,000 points and 30 EQN.
The bonus is split into two parts. You’ll receive 20,000 Hilton Honors points after your first purchase, plus 30,000 more points, plus 5 EQN when you spend £2,500 in foreign currency within your first six months.
The Hilton Honors Plus debit card comes with a £150 annual fee, but there’s also a basic version at £60 with no increased sign up bonus. The cards are linked to your usual current account and are very easy to use. You won’t be eligible for this offer if you’ve held a Hilton Debit Card before or want to upgrade.
The Hilton Honors Plus card comes with:
- Hilton Honors Gold Status: Valid as long as you hold the card. Benefits include complimentary breakfast for two (or a F&B credit at most US hotels), an 80% bonus on base points and space-available room upgrades. Gold status would normally require 15 stays, 25 nights or US$6,000 of qualifying spend in a calendar year.
- Up to 35 Elite Qualifying Nights per year: After earning the promotional five-night bonus, you’ll continue to earn five EQN for every £5,000 spent, up to 30 nights per calendar year. This leaves just 15 nights to earn Diamond status.
- Low Foreign Exchange Fees: Currensea Realtime Rate plus a 0.5% FX fee
- Earn Hilton Points on Your Spend: Per £1 spent, you’ll earn 1.5 points in the UK, 3 points outside the UK, 3 points at Hilton hotels in the UK, or 4.5 points outside the UK.
- An Annual Bonus: 10,000 Hilton Honors points when you spend £10,000 during your membership year.
This is an incredible sign-up offer and makes the card well-worth considering. If you value Hilton Gold status alone, the complimentary breakfast benefit can easily offset the £150 annual fee after only a handful of stays. Plus, the bonus is worth more than the cost of the card.
AMEX Offer: Cashback With Virgin Atlantic

If you’ve been planning a Virgin Atlantic booking, or there’s a chance you might book by the end of September, it’s worth checking your Amex Offers today.
If targeted, you’ll receive one of two offers:
- £200 back when you spend £2,000
- £250 back when you spend £2,500
Both of these work out to 10% back. Spend must be on the Virgin Atlantic website by 30th September 2026
As always, this is a targeted offer, so you’ll need to check the Offers tab in your Amex account to see if it’s available. Remember to save the offer to your card before making your booking.
Spend can be cumulative, so you don’t need to make one large purchase. Flights must depart from the UK.
The taxes and charges on Virgin reward flights also qualify. You could easily meet the threshold with just a few flights. For example, an Upper Class return to New York has taxes and charges of £1,052, so for two people, this would be enough for the lower cashback offer. You could book an Upper Class return to Incheon, South Korea, for three people for just over £2,500 in taxes.
It’s worth noting that phone bookings do not qualify, so you won’t be able to use the offer when redeeming a Virgin Atlantic credit card voucher. Purchases of Virgin Points are also excluded, as they’re processed by Points.com, and Virgin Atlantic Holidays bookings won’t qualify either.
The spending thresholds are higher than we’ve seen on previous Virgin Atlantic AMEX offers, but if you’re already planning a higher-value booking, it’s an easy way to save up to £250.

£100 AMEX Cashback with Preferred Hotels & Resorts

There seem to be some great AMEX offers at the moment. Some cardholders have been targeted with an offer of £100 cashback for a £500 spend with Preferred Hotels and Resorts by 18th September.
Again, make sure you save this offer to your card before you spend. Only the spending on the room rate is counted. Preferred hotels also have a loyalty programme, which you should definitely sign up for before you stay.
If you haven’t come across Preferred Hotels before, it’s a collection of more than 625 independent luxury hotels around the world. The offer covers over 500 hotels, including 11 in London, such as The Londoner, The Guardsman and The Beaumont Mayfair. There are some excellent city hotels in destinations such as New York, Barcelona, Oslo, Valletta, Lisbon and Milan, or you could opt for a beach holiday in Mykonos, Marbella, Florida, Mallorca and more!
Preferred Hotels & Resorts are also offering a $50 gift card for every stay of 2+ nights until 31st August – 1 maximum per hotel, but you can earn a maximum of five gift cards. You must also register for this offer, which you can find here.
Thankfully, Preferred Hotels has created a special page on their website, so you’ll find it much easier to find participating hotels than the long AMEX lists often provided for offers like this. The 20% discount from the AMEX offer plus the gift card can give you some incredible savings.
