The recognition came less than a year after its major rebrand.
“We did not set out to be the biggest agency in the region. We set out to be the one that vendors trusted with the result, and the one that good agents wanted to be part of,” he said.
Duncan said the international recognition reiterated the company was delivering across every element – from people, systems, training, support and leadership, down to the detail of signage and its purpose.
The win laid a strong foundation for the company’s future and showed it was “moving in the right direction”, he said.
Bower managing director Anton Jones said the judging panel reviewed how the agency operated and arrived at a five-star rating in two New Zealand categories.
He said it confirmed for vendors that the approach “holds up to international scrutiny”.
The company has also announced its top agents and offices of 2026 at the Bower Awards Night.
A media release said the overall winner was the Bastin Group.

The group also picked up the Top Sales Consultant award for Tauranga and first place for the Exclusive Lister award.
Real estate sales consultant Brent Bastin said the wins reflected the collective effort of a team committed to its craft and hungry to grow.
Real estate consultant Clark Mazey was runner-up and was also awarded Top Rural Sales Consultant.
Duncan said the night was about celebrating the people behind the success.
“It was an incredible evening filled with great company, memorable moments, and recognition for the hard work that goes on behind the scenes every day.”
