Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a grand larceny pattern between Beach 62nd and Beach 94th Streets.
On Thursday, July 2, at 4:45 p.m., an unidentified individual removed personal property from three separate victims around Beach 67th Street and the boardwalk. The property included iPhones, wallets, and other items that were left unattended. It is believed the victims left the items on the sand to enter the ocean.
On Friday, July 3, at 9 a.m., an individual removed a 40-year-old male victim’s personal property, including a cellphone, camera, and other items around Beach 67th Street and Rockaway Beach Blvd. The next day at 2 p.m., a backpack with iPhones, a camera and credit cards were stolen around Beach 62nd Street and Beach Front Road. Another backpack with iPhone, a wallet and credit cards were stolen on Friday afternoon, July 24 around 8600 Shore Front Parkway.
On Sunday, August 9, at 5 p.m., an individual removed a 23-year-old female victim’s bag, containing an iPhone, clothing, and credit cards, around Beach 94th Street and Shore Front Parkway.
On Sunday, August 16, at 10:15 a.m., an individual removed a 34-year-old male victim’s property, including sunglasses, a wallet, and credit cards, from a vehicle that was parked around Beach 67th Street and Ocean Avenue N.
